Easter Egg Hunt

Sophie had a great day hunting for Easter eggs and playing at the park. She didn't really understand the concept of hurrying and getting as many eggs as possible. She found one and wanted to sit down and play with it. Next year we're going to have to work on her competitiveness!

Really Walking Now

Sophie has been taking steps for about a month now, but just this weekend she has really started to take off on her own. She ventured all the way down the hallway on her own this weekend (without falling!) and went back and forth across the kitchen all night tonight. Check out the video!

Loving the Elmo Airplane

Sophie is feeling much better. Still a little cough, but she is pretty much back to herself! Here are a couple pictures of the new elmo airplane. She really loves to ride it on the hard floor, but is pretty stubborn and thinks she can get on and off by herself...which usually means she ends up falling!

One Sick Baby

We've had a rough week around here. Last Monday Sophie got her one year shots. Everything was good! By Tuesday night, her fever hit 104...yikes! Luckily our Dr.'s office was open that evening. We spent most of the week in a motrin....fever...tylenol....fever...motrin never-ending cycle. Friday the fever was back up to 103 so we headed back to the doctor and finally got the ear infection diagnosis and some antibiotics. And, to top it all off she is cutting all four molars at once. Good times around here :-( Here is one picture I captured of her at the Dr. office. The only thing that could entertain her was daddy's dirty, dirty hat!

One Year Ago Today...

We brought Sophie home. A lot changes in one quick year!
