Big Boy!

He's turning into such a big boy. Can't believe he's almost 2! 2, seriously?!?! 2!

Last year for Jake's birthday we got him one of those little Toy Story couches. He loves this thing. He sits on it every morning as part of his ritual. Here's a shot of my boys sleeping on their couches!

Fort Building...

They might get this from me....I used to LOVE to build forts all the time. They talked Caitlin into playing too :-)

Can We Go See Lucy??????

Every time we're anywhere near Scribner, Sophie insists and going over to see Lucy and take her a bone from Papa's store....or she'll try and steal one from poor Husker's stash. Here they are headed over to see Lucy!

Entryway Progress!

I'm so excited, our entryway is looking REALLY good....Jason does good work! Here are a couple of the "in progress photos" and "before" shot of the doors. I'll post the "after" shots soon! We're (and by we're I mean Jason!) just finishing up a bit of trim work!

Story of Our Lives Lately....

Sophie is always bossing Jake around, trying to get him to play what she wants, go where she wants, do what she says. You get the idea? This picture illustrates it best! And, his favorite thing to say now is "go away". I wonder why?

Farewell Highchair!

Okay, I haven't actually got myself to get rid of it yet....but we are close.....very close! Jake's been doing great sitting in the booster seat.

In Honor of Halloween....

Sophie got out the teeth! Actually, you can tell by the summer clothes that this was taken quite a while ago, I just thought it was a good time to post it!

Show and Tell

Sophie got the show and tell bag on Thursday. She stressed all evening trying to figure out what to take. I think we took every toy outta the toy box and every book off the shelf and considered it. She finally landed on her baby doll Checha Bella....here are a couple of pictures from this summer of Sophie and Checha Bella by herself (obviously someone was taking pictures with my camera!). She said Checha Bella was a hit!
