Ready to Swim!

The Easter bunny brought sophie flippers, goggles and a snorkel (princess of course), so she has been trying them out and thinks that she is going to be a wonderful swimmer this year (I hope she's right!). She has even been wearing them in the tub every night! Now, if only I could get her to keep her shirt on...sorry for the topless pictures :-)

Sophie is a REALLY BAD driver. Thank goodness 16 is a long ways off! Jake was content just being along for the ride, but I do think he might need a helmet if he's going to be a frequent passenger!

Bonding....

Sometimes they don't fight. I feel the need to document this :-) Jake likes to lay his head on Sophie's back when they watch TV....I tried to get a couple of pictures before he took off.
P.S. Yes, he's chewing on pink sunglasses and Sophie prefers to go topless lately. These are the things I cannot control!

Kite Flying!

Sophie got a new kite! She earned this by being very good for the pictures we had taken on Saturday. Yes, sadly, we've resorted to bribery. But, the good news is that it seems to work really well! Parents of the year...I know.... But, we got some really cute pictures of her flying the kite on Saturday afternooon. She LOVED it. And, the $3 Spongebob kite was awesome compared to the crappy ones I had as a kid that never worked...either that or we had the perfect wind for it...which might have been the case!

Happy Birthday Grandma Barb!

A couple of weeks ago (yes, I'm way behind!) we grilled out and celebrated Grandma Barb's birthday. Here our some of the pictures from our afternoon....mostly of the croquet playing and random pictures of Jake! Not very many of the birthday girl...I need to do a better job of picture taking!
