Sleeping Beauties

Jake ended up taking one of his naps on Sunday in the corner of the couch. Sophie was "pretending" to be sleeping with him :-) You can tell by the smirk on her face there was no sleeping...

Okay, we haven't started yet. But, we took a little "before" video when trying on the leotard and shoes. Fingers crossed, hopefully she does okay! And, once again I can't figure out how to turn the darn video. Argh.

Crazy Kids

Jake turned 9 months on Monday (more details to come soon...his appointment was yesterday). He is rolling everywhere, starting to scoot a bit and talking gibberish non-stop...so I think we will be in for trouble soon! And, neither of them want to cooperate much for my picture taking...so this is the best of this week!

Sophie also made a new friend while we were at the mall. Her name was Ava and they rode together in the red convertible (of course I didn't get any pictures of this one!). I'm pretty sure daddy won't be letting her drive the red convertible when she's 16...but it was a scary look into the future!

Fun With Friends!

Glen, Stacy and kids and Wendy and her kids all came to our house on Sunday to enjoy the pool in the heat wave. It was great to see everyone...and the kids are all getting so big. It's hard to believe that we've got seven kids between all of us. It was a fun day and we're so glad everyone made the long drive to see us!

Jake is really turning into a boy's boy. He loves the trucks and cars and all the noises they make :-) And, he's looking so grown up in these pictures. Can't believe he is almost 9 months old already.
