Loving the Exersaucer

Jake is really starting to like the exersaucer and have fun playing in there. I got a pretty good picture of him smiling this weekend. And, it reminded me of a very similar picture I have of Sophie. She's a little bit older in her shot, but they do look alike!

"Need to see Sophie and the apple"

I've heard this several times a day all week. Sophie got to ride in the "apple" at the mall last weekend and she wants to see her picture. Over and over and over again!

The Jumperoo!

We pulled the trusty jumperoo out of storage. Jake wasn't sure at first, but his feet touch the ground now and he is enjoying bouncing! I'm sure it won't be long and he'll be jumping like crazy. I remember Sophie jumping so hard and loud that I thought the thing was going to break.

Sophie's Latest Obsessions

She finally got daddy to put the tricycle that she got for Christmas together. Even with the pedal extenders her legs aren't quite long enough! But, she loves to ride around on it just pushing with her feet. Also, STICKERS. She wants stickers. Always. She thinks band-aids are stickers. And, singing. I've got a couple of videos I need to download of her singing. Her favorites are the itsy bitsy spider (Jake's bouncy seat sings this one), ring around the rosy and row, row, row your boat. The problem is that she immediately stops singing if she notices you're listening. It is funny in the car in the morning she'll sing non-stop!

Four Months!

Size Comparison Part Two

The first picture is from when Jake was just a couple weeks old. The second one is at almost four months. As you can tell, Sophie didn't really want to cooperate. I hope this is a factor of being two and not a sign for the future! They were both at the doctor last week (but are doing much better now)...Jake weighed over 13 pounds and Sophie was at 27 pounds, so he is already almost half her size. She better watch out!

I Love My Brother

Really, it may look like I'm trying to squish him, but I do in fact love my brother. Sophie is doing quite a bit better with Jake. She constantly wants to help feed him and if he is crying she likes to give orders..."hold him".... "feed him".... "put him in the bouncy seat". So, things are looking up!
