The little handheld radio...Sophie has mastered pushing the button over and over again (to drive mom and dad crazy). Here's a video...

Bath Time

Sophie has officially transitioned to the big bath...and she loves it! Yes, we should have done this a while ago...but it was so much easier for mom to put her in the sink. The big bath has sooo much more room to play. She also liked trying out the new big girl towel from grandma...it works much better than those "baby" towels.

Last year we found the perfect "my first Christmas" tree at Target after the holidays. We had a lot of fun putting this up for Sophie. Here are a couple of pics!

9-month Dr. Appointment Today

Sophie's 9-month appointment went really good today...there were no shots involved! Just a finger prick for blood. She did very good and didn't even cry. Here is a pic of her with the Christmas tree--her new favorite thing!!

Here are a couple more pictures in costume from actual Halloween. Sophie got into costume and went to Ft. Calhoun to visit and trick or treat at a couple houses. Then we went back home and answered the door in her PJs. She loved checking out all the kids as they came to the door.

Costume Contest

Here are some pics from the costume contest in Scribner today. Sophie took second place in the one and under competition. We were suprised, we were told ahead of time that the competition was stiff and that boughten costumes rarely win...but the pink poodle pulled it out and won $2.00 and her picture in the Rustler Sentinel...you can't beat that!

Halloween Present from Stacy!

My friend Stacy sent Sophie a Halloween present. She absolutely loves it and wants to play with it constantly!! Here is a video of her playing. I wish I would have had my camera out when we first took it out of the box. The first time she just went crazy! I guess you never have your camera at the exact right moment :-)
